Job summary

Walsh Employment Limited in Highland Park, IL is seeking a senior supply chain leader to own end-to-end procurement, production, inventory, forecasting and distribution strategies. You will lead direct reports and drive improvements across supplier negotiations, pricing and service performance.

The role requires 5+ years in supply chain management, advanced Excel skills, and a track record in process optimisation and cost reduction, reporting to the VP of Operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' supply chain management experience
• Proven people management experience with direct reports
• Strong experience across procurement, inventory, forecasting, replenishment and logistics
• Advanced Excel, including VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables and macros
• Strong background in process optimisation, continuous improvement and cost reduction
• Experience of supplier negotiation and vendor management
• Strong project management, analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Business or related field

Responsibilities

• Developing and improving end-to-end supply chain strategy and processes
• Managing procurement, production, inventory, forecasting and distribution initiatives
• Leading and developing direct reports
• Improving demand forecasting, replenishment and stock levels
• Managing supplier pricing, negotiations and service performance
• Using data and KPIs to drive operational improvements
• Managing cross-functional supply chain projects and mitigating operational risks
• Supporting raw material R&D and procurement
• Driving NetSuite implementation and process optimisation
• Partnering closely with Finance, Sales, Operations and senior leadership
