Job summary

McShane Construction Company is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead day-to-day on-site management, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to ensure work is safe, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in construction management, strong communication with clients and trade partners, and proficiency with Salus, PlanGrid, MS Project, Primavera P6, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in construction management.
• Strong communication with clients, design consultants and trade partners.
• Proficiency with Salus, PlanGrid, MS Project, Primavera P6 and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities per plans and safety rules.
• Prepare and maintain a 4-6 week look ahead schedule.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, materials, and equipment to optimize workflow.
• Monitor progress and prepare daily reports on work performed, site conditions, and issues affecting schedule or quality.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections and audits.
• Communicate with project stakeholders to resolve issues and align with goals.
• Review and interpret drawings and project documentation to guide construction activities.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and applicable codes/regulations.
• Facilitate project meetings and progress reviews with clients.
• Identify and address project risks, proposing solutions to stay on track.
