Job summary

Motor Technology, Inc. is seeking an Electromechanical Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install and maintain industrial motors and rotating equipment at customer sites. You will review work orders, perform tests, inspect components and determine repair solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in electromechanical rotating equipment, Millwright experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent computer skills. Must own tools, lift up to 50 lbs, and pass a DOT physical.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 3+ years of experience with industrial electromechanical rotating equipment.
• Millwright experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving.
• Excellent computer skills and tech literacy.
• Own tools and toolbox required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain industrial electromechanical equipment at customer sites.
• Review work orders, perform equipment tests, inspect components and determine repair solutions.
• Replace worn parts, perform laser alignments and dynamic balancing, collect vibration data.
• Maintain service documentation and communicate clearly with customers about equipment status.
