Evergreen Real Estate Group in Chicago, IL is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site construction for multi-family, affordable housing, and commercial projects. You will supervise subcontractors, coordinate schedules, enforce safety, and ensure work aligns with plans, budgets, and codes.

Reporting to the Vice President - Construction, the role requires 5–10 years in supervision, OSHA 30, and a strong ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
• Experience with multi-family, rehabilitation or complex commercial projects.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and schedules.
• Strong leadership and field supervision skills.
• OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout.
• Ensure work conforms to plans, specifications, schedules, and codes.
• Maintain accountability for progress, manpower planning, and daily production.
• Enforce safety protocols and manage site logistics and access.
• Lead meetings and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors.
