Job summary

Kinsley Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced Building Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations for commercial projects from our York, PA office.

You will supervise crews and subcontractors, coordinate with inspectors and design professionals, and ensure work aligns with contract documents, schedule, and budget. The role requires strong field experience, proactive safety leadership, and effective communication with the project team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience with field leadership.
• Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate drawings, specs, and submittals.
• Proven ability to coordinate crews and resolve field conflicts.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities and act as primary field representative.
• Review plans, specs, submittals, and shop drawings for field use.
• Coordinate self-perform work, subs, and suppliers; manage schedules.
• Develop CPM Master Schedule with the PM and monitor milestones.
• Facilitate safety meetings, enforce safety directives, and lead toolbox talks.
• Oversee daily reports, material deliveries, and intake of inspections.
