Job summary

Kinsley Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Building Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations for commercial projects.

Based at the York, PA office and assigned to project sites as needed, you will oversee crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure work meets contract documents, schedule, budget, and Kinsley quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong field leadership, technical construction knowledge, and a focus on safety, planning, and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of commercial construction experience with lead roles.
• Ability to read and coordinate drawings, specs, submittals, and contracts.
• Proven ability to manage field crews and subcontractors and maintain momentum.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities as primary field representative.
• Review plans, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings for field use.
• Coordinate self-perform work and subcontractor activities.
• Develop CPM Master Schedule with Project Manager and maintain look-ahead schedules.
• Conduct safety meetings, enforce safety directives, and lead toolbox talks.
• Ensure accurate time/quantity reporting and proper paperwork flow.
• Support project close-out, punch lists, and inspections coordination.
