Job summary

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking experienced Senior Construction Project Engineers to join our Field Operations team in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. This on-site role focuses on quality control and mentorship from CQCMs, supporting the project’s quality program on active military construction sites.

The position collaborates with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Site Safety teams to deliver projects while offering growth within the Design-Build contractor environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field; equivalent work exp may qualify.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet) required.
• Primavera 3/6, Oracle, BIM, Revit, ACC literacy preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications required; training can be provided.
• LEED GA credential desirable; QCM certificate desirable.
• English/Spanish bilingual skills required.
• Previous work experience in the general contracting field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations and assist CQCMs on the project quality program.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents and Site Safety teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Work on active military construction projects with potential for future opportunities.
