Job summary

Rider Levett Bucknall seeks a Construction Manager to lead on-site management for diverse projects, while engaging in business development and staff development activities. You will manage client relations, budgets, and schedules across project phases, with the authority to identify value-adding opportunities for successful outcomes.

Role requires 5–10 years in construction management, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in construction management is required or a bachelor’s degree in construction management, Architecture or Engineering.
• 5-10 years’ experience in a variety of building types and construction management through all phases of construction.
• Excellent communicator, both verbal and written; strong numeracy and financial management.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects that meet the client’s goals and outcomes.
• Serve as liaison with clients and assist with project-related decisions.
• Plan, organize, and direct project management through all phases: Preconstruction, Construction, Closeout.
• Manage contractor procurement, risk management, quality assurance, safety, and overall project execution; maintain budget and schedule.
• Closeout the project meeting specifications and produce cost/status reports.
• May mentor an internal project support team or work independently.
