• Oversee, manage, and document all day-to-day job site activities including OSHA safety compliance
• Direct field personnel according to the project plan and Suffolk supervisory principles
• Communicate issues, events, performance, and progress daily to the Project Manager
• Report any problems promptly to the Project Manager to facilitate the most cost-effective solutions
• Establish effective working relationships with clients and Suffolk team members
• Request advice and assistance from the General Superintendent on materials, sequencing, scheduling and personnel
• Identify pre-mobilization activities with Project Executive, General Superintendent, and Project Manager
• Develop start-up schedule with Project Manager and send for review
• Assist in formulating and implementing construction schedules in the field

• Maintain the schedule and ensure that work performed is consistent with the contract
• Update Project Schedule monthly
• Provide progress report with the two-week look ahead of schedule to the Project Manager and field staff
• Ensure subcontractors participate in safety pre-construction meetings
• Ensure MSD sheets and safety plans are on site and current
• Review safety reports to assess performance on projects
• Budget and staff safety programs
• Communicate clear safety expectations to project teams
• Perform safety inspections using prescribed software
• Adhere to Suffolk Safety program requirements
• Establish project benchmarks and ensure inspections occur on schedule
• Ensure participation in Q-Team and proper inspections documentation
• Manage site pre-construction and job site utilization plans
• Mobilize field office and maintain site to Suffolk standards
• Organize documentation for easy access and review
• Manage subcontractor performance to quality and ethical standards
• Coordinate with PM to resolve personnel issues and process revisions
• Manage all phases of construction and report site activities and progress
• Attend project turnover, mobilization, coordination, and safety meetings
• Lead safety pre-construction and weekly foreman meetings
• Attend monthly schedule review and closeout meetings
• Attend owner and subcontractor meetings
