Job summary

MOBIS North America seeks a Systems Engineer (OLED) to lead optical design and validation for automotive display systems. You will translate requirements into robust designs, set up measurement systems, and support manufacturing and EOL processes across MOBIS and supplier networks.

You will collaborate with OEMs and Tier 2 suppliers, drive advanced display technologies like POLED and FALD, and navigate cross-cultural calls with overseas HQ to ensure product performance from concept to production.

Qualifications

• - ~10+ years of OLED design or automotive display technology experience.
• - Experience translating customer requirements into optical solutions.
• - Familiarity with optical measurement and evaluation methods.
• - Proficiency with CAD tools NX and CATIA during product development.
• - Experience with EOL processes and new technology development with suppliers.
• - Ability to collaborate with OEMs, Tier 1/2 suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• - Willingness to work on-site and travel to OEM facilities as needed.
• - Strong communication and problem-solving skills across cultures.

Responsibilities

• - Translate requirements into optical designs for OLED display systems.
• - Set up evaluation and measurement systems for optical performance.
• - Understand design and manufacturing of display modules and components.
• - Perform field failure analysis and evaluate solutions for production issues.
• - Lead EOL (End of Line) setup for display manufacturing.
• - Collaborate with Tier 2 suppliers on new technology (POLED, QD, FALD).
• - Work on-site at MOBIS NA and with OEM facilities; engage customers on future definitions.
• - Drive design ownership and propose actionable solutions; boot-on-the-ground approach.
• - Communicate clearly across teams and with overseas HQ.
