Job summary

Guidehouse Inc. is seeking a Senior Okta Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Okta-based authentication services for a federated U.S. government environment.

The role requires hardening IAM across multi-tenant setups with strong security and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years in identity and access management, at least 3 years focusing on Okta, and proven experience in federated deployments with SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Must be able to obtain Federal/public trust clearance.
• Minimum five years of IAM experience with at least three years in Okta.
• Experience deploying Okta in federated environments with complex trust.
• Strong knowledge of SAML, OIDC, OAuth2, SCIM.
• Familiarity with FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53.
• Strong scripting in PowerShell or Python.
• Experience with Okta Governance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable Okta solutions across domains and agencies.
• Design and implement SSO, MFA, and adaptive access policies.
• Integrate Okta with cloud and on‑premise apps via APIs.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infra, and app teams.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Okta performance and security.
