Primoris Pipeline is seeking a Crew Chief with a strong oil and gas surveying background to lead a two- or three-man crew on prelim corridor surveys, construction staking, as‑built, boundary, title and topographic surveys. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of Crew Chief experience and expert Trimble robotics knowledge, with the ability to work independently or guide a small team.

This role requires frequent travel across the US, ability to work in extreme weather, and a current driver’s license

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of oil & gas survey experience.
• Knowledge in GPS, total station, and electronic data collectors.
• Expert-level knowledge of Trimble robotics.
• Laser scanning and drone experience is a plus.
• Safety conscience is a must.
• Must have current and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a two or three-man crew for prelim corridor surveys, construction staking, as-built, boundary, title and topographic surveys.
• Guide and train crew members daily; may work as a one-man crew with construction team.
• Ensure quality and performance of survey crew and maintenance of equipment.
• Submit data and notes daily and communicate with clients and landowners professionally.
• Travel across the US and work in varying weather conditions.
