Job summary

EDG is seeking a Facilities/Process Engineer to design and upgrade oil and gas production, transmission, and distribution facilities, including onshore and offshore projects. The role involves FEED, detailed engineering, process simulations, and close collaboration with Project Managers and clients.

The candidate should have a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, 10 years in the field, and familiarity with BSEE/USCG/ABS/DNV safety and regulatory standards. Travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• If the degree is from outside the U.S., the candidate must have earned an E.I.T. designation from a U.S. licensing board.
• Ten (10) years of experience in engineering design and/or project management of oil and gas/industrial facilities.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (BSEE, USCG, ABS, DNV) and codes (CFR, API, ASME, NFPA).
• Experience developing sizing calculations, technical specifications, drawings, and data sheets for oil and gas facilities.
• Ability to travel to client sites, onshore and offshore.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual engineering for new field or plant developments.
• FEED and/or Detailed Engineering for Greenfield/Brownfield onshore/offshore facilities.
• Design of process and/or utility systems for oil and gas facilities.
• Interface with vendors for equipment packages and specs.
• Perform P&IDs, safety flow diagrams, and process simulations.
• Develop and review data sheets and technical specifications for equipment and piping.
• Support procurement with bid packages and technical evaluations.
• Provide on-site support during construction, commissioning, startup, and operations.
