Farnsworth Group, Inc. seeks an Engineering Manager – Oil & Gas to lead technical teams and manage projects for refined petroleum, crude oil and natural gas pipelines.

You will coordinate with multiple disciplines, oversee staff, and drive projects from concept to final design in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Petroleum Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience, including engineering management experience, in the oil, natural gas, or related industry.
• Minimum of 5-10 years performing project work as a project manager with a firm understanding and experience in applying project management tools and best practices.
• Highly motivated self-starter.
• General understanding of and able to interpret and apply DOT, API, ANSI, ASME and owner regulations, codes and standards.
• Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
• Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management on various sizes of projects that could span both gas and liquid clients.
• Lead multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate efforts for quality, on-time delivery and financial success.
• Provide technical support as part of an engineering team on large/complex projects as needed.
• Assist in project development from conceptual through final design.
• Determine personnel needed and prepare manpower and cost estimates.
