Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Health and Safety Professional to support complex heavy civil projects, including tunnels and dams, across remote locations.

You will lead health and safety programs, audits, and contractor oversight to protect workers and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires extensive experience with ISO 45001, OSHA standards, and occupational hygiene, plus the ability to travel to remote sites and work within

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• 15+ years of relevant OH&S experience on comparable construction projects.
• Experience on projects with $100M+ value.
• Experience managing safety in remote locations and campsites.
• ISO 45001 safety management systems experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR Part 1926 and related standards.
• Experience leading behavioral safety programs.
• Experience conducting occupational hygiene assessments in construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop health and safety requirements for RIR Contract.
• Review health and safety plans for compliance with ACP standards and regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections and risk assessments across sites and remote locations.
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety requirements.
• Lead behavioral safety initiatives and track safety performance metrics.
• Prepare safety reports, investigations, corrective actions and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate safety training and toolbox talks for ACP and contractors.
