Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Health & Safety Professional based in Corpus Christi, TX, to lead safety programs, assess performance, issue permits, and conduct industrial hygiene sampling across large projects. The role requires extensive H&S experience and supervisory capabilities to guide operations personnel and drive safer outcomes.

You will mentor teams, prepare required safety reports, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Travel to project locations is required as needed.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of full-time Health & Safety experience.
• 3+ years of Health and Safety supervisory experience.
• Experience on large projects with multiple work areas.
• Previous experience in construction and general industry environments.
• Experience managing and delivering safety training presentations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and administration of safety programs.
• Assess project Health & Safety performance and report findings.
• Investigate incidents and prepare required reports per regulations.
• Issue permits for confined spaces and conduct industrial hygiene sampling.
• Mentor other professionals and drive team safety improvements.
