Job summary

GC-Squared Resources, LLC is seeking a SURF Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale offshore subsea projects. The role ensures safety, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction across engineering, procurement, construction, and installation teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• 15+ years of offshore oil & gas, subsea construction, or marine construction experience.
• Experience with major offshore operators and contractors.
• International offshore project experience.
• Proven leadership managing large offshore EPCI projects with contracts, budgets, risk, and multi-million values.
• Extensive subsea installation knowledge including pipelines, risers, umbilicals, and subsea structures.
• Strong knowledge of offshore installation methods, vessels, ROVs, and subsea systems.
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to manage cost, schedule, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end offshore subsea construction projects from initiation to commissioning.
• Provide strategic oversight for planning, execution strategy, and resource allocation.
• Align engineering, procurement, fabrication, and offshore installation teams.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring cost control.
• Oversee contract execution, change orders, claims, and commercial negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and governance standards.
• Direct offshore construction activities including subsea installation and pipeline work.
• Coordinate vessel mobilization, installation campaigns, and offshore logistics.
• Maintain safety and offshore regulatory compliance across operations.
• Serve as primary client interface and lead regular project reviews.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and JV partners.
• Promote a strong HSE culture and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and mentor personnel.
