Job summary

SBM Offshore is seeking a Project Subcontracts Manager to lead subcontracting activities across the project lifecycle in the oil and gas sector. You will develop and implement subcontracting strategies, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate favorable terms to protect the organization’s interests.

In this role you will monitor performance, ensure legal and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of subcontract management experience in Oil & Gas.
• Certification in Contract Management (CPCM/CFCM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement subcontracting strategies to optimize project outcomes.
• Maintain subcontractor relationships and open communication with stakeholders.
• Lead project subcontract negotiations to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and take corrective actions to meet timelines and budgets.
• Ensure subcontracts are administered in line with legal, regulatory, and company requirements and keep audit-ready records.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and advise on subcontracting matters.
