Ørsted US Offshore Operations seeks a High Voltage Technician to join the North-East offshore wind program. You’ll commission, maintain, operate and troubleshoot HV/LV equipment and provide safety guidance in line with ØESR.

The role is based both onshore and offshore within substations across the region. You’ll work in the HV Transmission System team reporting to the HV Transmission System Manager, performing isolation, earthing, switching, preventive maintenance, and SCADA-based

Formación

• Electrical maintenance expertise for HV/LV equipment in substations.
• Experience with HV switching and isolation procedures.
• Knowledge of SCADA alarms and local control systems.
• Familiarity with Ørsted Electrical Safety Rules (ØESR).
• Ability to work offshore for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safety through electrical/mechanical isolation, earthing, and switching of HV/LV equipment in substations for planned/unplanned work.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HV substation assets per manufacturer instructions.
• Troubleshoot using SCADA alarms or local control systems.
• Operate transmission configurations and contingencies; understand relay-protection schemes.
• Manage outages and control networks in collaboration with relevant personnel using SCADA/local systems.
• Lead contractors and coordinate inter-system operation and safety procedures.
