WSP Global Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Offshore Environmental Compliance Manager to lead offshore environmental compliance on NY/NJ marine construction projects. You will supervise field teams, review monitoring data, and coordinate with vessel crews and contractors.

The role requires extensive travel, on-vessel mobilizations, and delivering compliant environmental deliverables while adhering to regulatory requirements and WSP’s policies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Marine Science, Ecology, Natural Resources, or related field.
• 15+ years of environmental fieldwork, construction monitoring, marine surveys, or offshore environmental compliance.
• Experience coordinating with vessel crews, offshore contractors, and marine environmental specialists.
• Strong understanding of offshore/coastal ecosystems and environmental sensitivities associated with in-water work.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (BOEM/BSEE, NMFS, USACE) for offshore construction.
• Ability to lead field teams, oversee QA/QC, and support real-time decisions in field conditions.

Aufgaben

• Oversee marine-based environmental inspection teams on NY/NJ projects.
• Coordinate with vessel crews, offshore contractors, and marine specialists.
• Review method statements for in-water construction methods.
• Prepare offshore environmental deliverables and support agency notifications.
• Resolve real-time offshore compliance issues with vessel supervisors and construction managers.
• Travel up to 100% and mobilize to offshore sites as required.
