Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking an experienced Office Engineer to join our growing PM/CM team in New Jersey/Philadelphia. The role focuses on representing academic owners on capital improvement programs, including renovations and new construction.

As an owner's representative, you will support multi-disciplinary teams through programming, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management, ensuring quality outcomes for education clients. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience supporting K-12, higher education, or academic facilities.
• Demonstrated experience managing capital projects valued at $20 million or greater.
• Proven ability to manage multiple activities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Experience with Kahua a plus.
• Ability to work as a team member and collaborate to develop creative and practical solutions to complex project challenges while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality objectives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a team member on STV team as an authorized representative for K-12 capital projects.
• Perform office engineering tasks in support of the boarder team.
• Be involved with each phase of the project lifecycle, including programming, budgeting, planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, activation, move management, and project closeout depending on the project.
• Assist in developing project reports and upload data into the project PMIS system.
• Work with the team to maintain, and monitor project schedules and milestone deliverables to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Attend meetings in conjunction with the project manager move the project forward.
• Work with the team and assist in evaluating project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues impacting construction.
