Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced Office Engineer to join our growing PM/CM team in New Jersey/Philadelphia. This role supports K-12 and academic owners on complex capital improvement programs, facility expansions, renovations, and new construction projects.

The Office Engineer will act as an owner’s representative, guiding multidisciplinary teams through each project phase and reporting to the Sr. Project Manager or Project Executive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience supporting K-12, higher education, or academic facilities.
• Demonstrated experience managing capital projects valued at $20 million or greater.
• Proven ability to manage multiple activities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Experience with Kahua a plus.
• Ability to work as a team member and collaboratively develop practical solutions to complex project challenges while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality objectives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a team member on STV team as an authorized representative for K-12 capital projects.
• Perform office engineering tasks in support of the broader team.
• Be involved with each phase of the project lifecycle, including programming, budgeting, planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, activation, move management, and project closeout depending on the project.
• Assist in developing project reports and upload data into the project PMIS system.
• Work with the team to maintain and monitor project schedules and milestone deliverables to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Attend meetings in conjunction with the project manager to move the project forward.
• Work with the team and assist in evaluating project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues impacting construction.
