Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking a Senior Offensive Cyber Analyst to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Cyber Operations Policy. Location: Arlington and Alexandria, VA. Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Compensation range: $185K–$205K. In this role you will provide analytical, strategic, and technical guidance on offensive cyber operations, brief senior leaders, coordinate with DoW, USCYBERCOM, and intelligence partners, and help develop and implement policies,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience supporting offensive cyberspace operations.
• Demonstrated experience providing technical support and advice on offensive cyber capabilities, processes, and mission execution.
• Familiarity with intelligence‑development‑operations, targeting, and USCYBERCOM processes.
• Knowledge of offensive cyber policy development, strategy formulation, and implementation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience briefing complex cyber operational, policy, and risk concepts to GO/FO/SES‑level leaders.
• Ability to interface effectively with senior‑level leadership.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and strategic support for Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO), incl. monitoring and evaluating operations.
• Deliberate analysis of offensive cyber missions, goals, risks, authorities, and outcomes.
• Help develop and implement policies, strategies, plans, and authorities related to OCO.
• Assist leadership in aligning OCO activities with DoW policy and priorities.
• Apply intelligence-development-operations knowledge to support policy and strategy.
• Provide technical advice on offensive cyber capabilities, processes, and mission execution.
• Prepare analyses, reports, briefings, summaries, and decision-support materials for senior DoW leadership.
• Brief complex cyber concepts to GO/FO/SES‑level leaders.
• Coordinate with DoW, USCYBERCOM, intelligence partners, and other stakeholders.
• Identify operational risks, gaps, policy issues, and opportunities to improve OCO effectiveness.
