Job summary

Set Of X in the United States is seeking an experienced offensive cyber engineer to tackle critical intelligence challenges. You’ll conduct malware analysis and reverse engineering to support incident response, investigations, and research on evolving threats.

This role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, 7+ years in cyber security, and hands-on work with Python, C/C++, and assembly. You’ll lead small agile teams, develop tools, and communicate findings clearly to both technical and

Qualifications

7+ years of offensive cyber or security experience.
Proficient in Python, Shell, Assembly, and/or C/C++.
Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Knowledge of Windows/UNIX/Linux systems.
Understanding of IoT, SDR concepts, and RF communications.

Responsibilities

Perform malware analysis and reverse engineering to support investigations and incident response.
Conduct red team and penetration testing using Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Wireshark.
Analyze and map network architectures to identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
Develop tools and serve as a technical lead through the project lifecycle.
Document findings and produce clear reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
Analyze software, firmware, and hardware to identify security risks and mitigations.
Collaborate with small agile teams to solve complex cyber challenges.
