Job summary
Catena Media is seeking an SEO Off-Page Team Lead to own all off-site activities for our US brands. You will lead a small team, drive link acquisition, digital PR, and authority growth across high-competition verticals like online casino and sports betting.
You’ll set strategy, manage budgets, and partner with social, content and commercial teams to maximize impact. You will report to the Director of SEO, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with industry and platform
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in off-page SEO with track record in competitive verticals.
- 2+ years experience managing or mentoring a team, including performance reviews.
- Experience in the US sports betting or online casino market, in affiliation or on the operator side.
- Proven ability to build link acquisition programmes at scale, not just one-off campaigns.
- Strong commercial judgement: budgeting, vendor negotiations, and cost defence.
- Familiarity with Google’s link spam policies and risk assessment beyond a single metric.
- Experience running digital PR campaigns and journalist outreach.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve off-page strategy for Catena Media’s US brands.
- Set quarterly authority targets and hold the team to them.
- Build scalable link acquisition programmes across digital PR and partnerships.
- Direct the digital PR calendar around US sports and legislative cycles.
- Manage vendor and agency relationships and budget.
- Report off-page performance and tie authority growth to ranking and revenue.
