Job summary

Chromalloy in Orangeburg, NY is seeking a Senior Production Planner to lead planning activities, including demand, production, capacity, and inventory management. You will partner with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service to meet customer commitments while optimizing performance.

This role requires strong analytical capability, business acumen, and the ability to influence decisions through data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, operations, planning, scheduling, or related functions.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, and planning-related reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning for an assigned business segment including demand, production, and capacity planning.
• Develop and maintain production supply plans to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor business performance and proactively identify risks, constraints, and opportunities.
• Communicate planning priorities, assumptions, and recovery plans to stakeholders.
• Mentor Planners and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
