As part of the Object Storage Service team, we seek hands-on engineers to tackle distributed systems, storage, and high availability

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in building distributed systems and large-scale storage.
• Ability to design fault-tolerant, scalable services with high availability.
• Experience with security controls and automation in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of scalable distributed systems components.
• Define scalability requirements and optimize data paths for high-throughput workloads.
• Design fault-tolerant, upgradeable systems with redundancy and failover.
• Establish KPIs and telemetry; build dashboards and alerts for system health.
• Mentor peers and ensure operational readiness; participate in incident response.
• Develop IaC and automation to enable safe patching and changes.
