Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced OCI Solutions Architect to design, deploy, and operate large-scale OCI environments remotely in the United States. You will own the full OCI engineering lifecycle—from landing zones and IaC to workload migration, cost optimization, and observability, partnering with security, database, and application teams.

The ideal candidate has deep OCI expertise, strong DevOps fundamentals, and hands-on experience with Terraform, OKE, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related technical discipline.
6+ years of cloud engineering experience with OCI.
Production-level Terraform experience.
Strong hands-on with OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, and database services.
Experience with Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for cloud workloads.
Scripting skills in Python and Bash.
Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance requirements.
Experience with observability tooling and incident response.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade OCI landing zones, compartments, and tenancy structures.
Design and implement OCI networking topologies (VCNs, subnets, Gateways, FastConnect, IPSec VPN, DRG).
Build and maintain OCI infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
Implement IAM policies and RBAC using OCI Identity Domains.
Design and operate OCI compute and storage services optimized for workloads.
Operate OCI database services in partnership with DBA teams.
Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications on OCI DevOps or external platforms.
Implement observability using OCI Monitoring, Logging, APM and third-party stacks.
Drive cost optimization through right-sizing and lifecycle management.
Design disaster-recovery and business-continuity across OCI regions.
