Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an OCI Engineer to architect, deploy, and operate OCI environments on Oracle’s public cloud. You will own the OCI engineering lifecycle from landing-zone design to workload migration and operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years OCI experience, Terraform IaC, OCI compute/networking/storage, and Python/Bash scripting with DevOps and security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of cloud engineering with hands-on OCI experience.
• Terraform IaC experience at production level.
• Strong OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, and database experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE).
• CI/CD pipelines experience for cloud workloads.
• Python and Bash scripting proficiency.
• Deep cloud security, IAM, and compliance knowledge.
• Observability tooling and incident response experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and operate OCI landing zones, compartments, and tenancy structures.
• Design OCI networking topologies (VCNs, subnets, gateways, FastConnect).
• Build and maintain OCI IaC using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager with version control.
• Implement IAM policies and RBAC using OCI Identity Domains.
• Design and operate OCI compute and storage services optimized for workloads.
• Operate OCI database services in partnership with DBA teams.
• Build CI/CD pipelines on OCI DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Implement observability using OCI Monitoring/Logging/APM.
• Drive cost optimization via right‑sizing and lifecycle management.
• Design disaster recovery and business continuity across OCI regions.
• Strengthen security posture and remediate findings.
• Develop automation tooling in Python/Bash/Terraform; mentor engineers.
