Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced OIC Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate large-scale OCI environments on Oracle’s cloud. You will own the full OCI engineering lifecycle from landing-zone design to workload migration and ongoing operations.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of OCI-focused cloud engineering, Terraform, and strong DevOps capabilities, with responsibilities spanning security, cost optimization, and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with strong OCI hands-on time.
• Production-level infrastructure-as-code experience using Terraform.
• Solid experience with OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, and database services.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for cloud workloads.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with observability tooling and incident response.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate OCI landing zones, compartments, and tenancy structures.
• Design and implement OCI networking topologies, including VCNs, subnets, gateways, and DRG-based architectures.
• Build and maintain OCI infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
• Implement IAM policies and RBAC with OCI Identity Domains.
• Design and operate OCI compute and storage services optimized for workloads.
• Operate OCI database services, including Autonomous DB and Exadata Cloud.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications on OCI DevOps or CI platforms.
• Implement observability using OCI Monitoring, Logging, and APM.
• Drive ongoing cost optimization and disaster recovery planning.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cloud communities of practice.
