Job summary

LHC Group, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Senior Living Occupational Therapist to provide age-appropriate care from adult to geriatric patients. You will assess, treat, educate families, and document services per facility standards, with direct patient care as a core component.

Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, supervising staff, and participating in team conferences while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates the patient to determine rehab potential and sets an individualized plan of care.
• Sets initial STG's and LTG's for the patient.
• Utilizes and maintains equipment safely; logs inspection and maintenance.
• Maintains equipment logs for outpatient clinic equipment.
• Follows medical regimens and adheres to precautions as applicable.
• Performs safe treatment techniques (transfers, positioning, splinting, etc.).
• Completes discharge summaries on final outpatient visit.
• Deliver care to patients across diverse ages and backgrounds.
