Job summary

LHC Group is seeking a Per diem Senior Living Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive, age-appropriate therapy for adult to geriatric patients in home and clinic settings. You will assess, treat, and educate patients and families, while collaborating with the care team to optimize outcomes.

Responsibilities include developing home exercise programs, supervising aides, and documenting care according to standards. Per diem schedule with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients to determine rehab potential and creates an individualized treatment plan.
• Implements age-appropriate therapy and direct patient care.
• Supervises treatment delivered by COTA or tech.
• Develops home exercise programs and provides patient/family instruction.
• Participates in PI programs and team/family conferences.
• Documents services per department and facility standards.
