Job summary

Ford Energy seeks a Senior Engineer, Occupational Safety, to serve as the site safety SME, developing innovative hazard controls, safety systems, and compliance programs. You will lead the Safety Operating System implementation, training, and risk management across facilities.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Safety-related field with 4+ years of experience, and may hold a Master’s degree or professional certifications. Domestic and international travel are possible; shifts may vary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline.
• 4+ years of occupational safety experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Ability to work varied shifts and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of plant-wide safety processes and Safety Operating System.
• Conduct inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive safety training, emergency planning, and risk mitigation across locations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional leaders for incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training programs to prevent injuries and illnesses.
