Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Mid-Career Occupational/Industrial Safety Professional to lead safety projects at client sites, primarily in industrial settings. You will conduct hazard identifications, analyze injury data, and implement safety programs to prevent accidents, with strong emphasis on leadership and client collaboration.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, 3+ years of experience, and familiarity with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred—ideally in a science or engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational safety/employee accident prevention.
• Active Secret security clearance highly preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in manufacturing & assembly or heavy industry is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety program management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational safety consulting services to clients.
• Lead and manage industrial safety projects with defined timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to design and implement service plans.
• Monitor and report on plan progress and effectiveness of safety solutions.
• Advise customers on occupational safety issues and potential new projects.
