Job summary

Phillips 66 in Borger, TX is seeking a Specialist, Advanced Practitioner to protect worker health and wellbeing across the refinery workforce. You will perform pre-employment exams, DOT exams, and manage injuries and illnesses within occupational health, using an electronic medical record and coordinating referrals as needed.

You will lead health evaluations, support safety programs, and respond to on-site emergencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while promoting employee

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing (APRN) or PA studies.
• 2+ years direct occupational experience.
• 1+ years of adult primary care or urgent care experience.
• Experience with Occupational & Environmental Health and Safety regulations.
• Advanced practice provider training (APRN or PA-C) from a US program.
• Current Texas state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-employment and regulatory medical examinations (labs, EKGs, PFTs, audiograms).
• Conduct DOT exams and substance abuse testing.
• Manage confidential medical records using an EMR system.
• Provide health education and wellness resources to employees.
• Respond to on-site medical emergencies and advise on fitness for duty.
