Job summary

RTX’s Shipboard Missiles division seeks an Associate Director for a Development/DMSMS Program Manager on the SM-3 IB program in Tucson, AZ. You will lead development and DMSMS proposals, transition projects to production, and actively manage obsolescence while strengthening customer relationships.

The role requires a senior background in DoD programs, EVMS experience, and the ability to guide a portfolio toward on-time delivery and cost control.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• Experience with developing contracts, transitioning to production, and obsolescence programs.
• Experience with Earned Value Management systems (EVMS) or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Own related profit and loss, AOP and financial performance commitments.
• Develop and execute program growth strategies.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and coordinate with program leaders.
• Travel as needed and manage risk, cost, schedule and quality.
