CVS Health is seeking a Senior Observability Platform Engineer to design and operate large‑scale observability services. You will develop backends in Go, Python, and Java, and drive OpenTelemetry adoption across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with SRE and Cloud teams to ensure reliable, secure, and cost‑efficient observability at Fortune‑6 scale, delivering a self‑service ecosystem for engineers.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with backend services.
• 3+ years in observability, SLOs/SLAs, alerting and incident mgmt.
• 3+ years building production-grade backends in Go and/or Java.
• 3+ years implementing OpenTelemetry and instrumentation patterns.
• 3+ years with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native platforms.
• 2+ years with Terraform or CloudFormation and Helm/Kustomize.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and operate core observability platform services at scale.
• Lead adoption of OpenTelemetry across engineering teams.
• Design, build, and maintain high‑throughput telemetry pipelines.
• Provide senior technical leadership and architectural guidance.
• Collaborate with SRE, Cloud, and Platform teams to ensure reliability and security.
