Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Core PDX Observability Engineering team to design and deliver the next-generation logging and observability platform. This role focuses on high-scale, mission-critical pipelines across on-prem and public cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with logging/data pipelines and observability platforms.
• Strong Kubernetes and cloud skills (AWS/GCP).
• Proficiency in Go, Java, or Python; leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and evolve the One Intuit Logging system end-to-end.
• Drive cost optimization across the logging stack without sacrificing signal fidelity.
• Lead design of core logging components and modernization initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and set engineering standards across the team.
• Collaborate with SRE, platform, and product teams to align capabilities.
