Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Observability Engineer to administer and enhance our monitoring stack, including Zabbix and Grafana. The role emphasizes reducing noise, improving incident response, and delivering actionable dashboards for IT and business stakeholders.

You will collaborate with Cloud, SRE, Infrastructure, and Security teams to mature observability across environments, defining SLIs and SLOs and automating provisioning through scripts and APIs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in observability and monitoring of critical environments.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to correlate data and resolve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the monitoring platform (Zabbix), ensuring availability, performance and continuous improvement;
• Instrument and configure monitoring for infrastructure, applications, networks and databases;
• Build and maintain operational and executive dashboards (Zabbix and Grafana);
• Define and evolve intelligent alerting rules to reduce noise and improve operational efficiency;
• Correlate metrics, logs and events to provide an integrated view of environments;
• Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs and reliability indicators;
• Automate processes and monitoring provisioning using scripts and API integrations;
• Support incident response and initial troubleshooting, ensuring SLA adherence;
• Collaborate with Cloud, SRE, Infrastructure, Database and Security teams to improve observability maturity.
