Job summary

Amgen in the United States is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison for Obesity to cover the California region. This field-based role requires collaboration with OLs, PHDMs, and healthcare providers to disseminate scientific data that informs patient care and improves outcomes.

You will engage investigators, manage congress activities, and mentor other MSLs while staying current on data and trends in obesity and metabolic disease.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree & 2 years of Medical Affairs experience
• Masters degree & 6 years of Medical Affairs experience
• Bachelors degree & 8 years of Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to Opinion Leaders (OLs), Population Health Decision Makers (PHDMs) and other healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy as led by MSL Leadership to improve patient outcomes.
• Engage with clinical investigators and sites in support of the obesity pipeline.
• Communicate scientific data of clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to stakeholders.
• Lead and participate on project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics.
