Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison for Obesity in CA to serve as a primary scientific resource for Opinion Leaders and healthcare providers. The role covers an extensive CA territory including Long Beach, Torrance, Riverside and San Bernardino, driving scientific exchange and data dissemination.

As part of the Obesity General Medicine team, you will support sponsored research, mentor colleagues, and help implement medical affairs strategies while advancing patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Masters or Bachelors with 2/6/8 years Medical Affairs experience respectively.
• Experience serving as medical science liaison or similar role in biotech/pharma preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs, and healthcare providers.
• Engage with investigators, sites, and institutions to communicate clinical data.
• Lead and participate in projects to support MSL strategies and tactics.
• Mentor other MSLs and provide scientific insights to internal stakeholders.
