Serving Seniors is seeking a Nutrition Site Coordinator (Part-Time) for the Gary & Mary West Senior Wellness Center in downtown San Diego. The role oversees the dining room and kitchen operations and serves as liaison with food service vendors.

Hours are 8:30am to 2pm with pay at $20 per hour. This position requires strong communication, customer service, and the ability to coordinate with volunteers and partners. This is an Equal Opportunity/E-Verify employer.

Qualifikationen

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior customer service skills, including identifying and following up on customer needs.
• Ability to develop professional, cooperative relationships with participants, families, staff and volunteers.
• Ability to motivate and lead teams.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to food service.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day food service at the site.
• Act as liaison with all food service vendors.
• Oversee collection of daily meal donations.
• Provide accurate daily and weekly accounting of clients-served to the Site Manager.
• Assist seniors, guests and volunteers in the dining room.
• Distribute monthly menus.
• Support community outreach to promote program services.
• Report suspected elder abuse to Adult Protective Services as required.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
