Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year supervising elderly programs or coordinating activities.
• Valid Hawaii Type 3 driver’s license.
• Knowledge of community resources and their utilization; interviewing techniques; public relations; basic reading, writing, arithmetic.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; communicate with clients; supervise others; follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and conduct meal operation services for the elderly, ensuring timely, well-balanced meals and sanitary conditions.
• Supervise volunteers at meal sites and packing centers; monitor delivery routes and adjust as needed.
• Complete written assessments, maintain participant files, and prepare periodic reports.
• Coordinate social, recreational, and educational activities with program staff and partner agencies.
• Perform related duties as required.
