Qualifications

• Advanced education preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience required in the area of hire.
• CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) certification or a registered dietitian preferred. If necessary, acquire Serv Safe certification within a year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of the Nutrition and Food Services department and oversees all dietary and related food services functions.
• Oversees diet and menu planning and supervises dispensing and distribution of food and related supplies.
• Contributes to budgeting, tracks employee hours and department expenses, and supports staffing and talent development across the unit.
• Maintains knowledge of quality management methods and measures quality to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborates with information services to implement process changes and aligns with organizational goals.
• Participates in committees, staff meetings, and trainings to support department initiatives and goals.
