The Meadows of Rockwell Retirement Center is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our culinary team and assist in preparing nutritious meals for residents. You will support meal service and food safety under the guidance of the Dietary Manager, helping residents enjoy their meals in a warm, respectful environment.

No prior experience is required, but a high school diploma and a genuine compassion for the elderly are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Compassion for residents and desire to help.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow directions and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare, portion, and serve meals according to dietary plans.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist residents with meal setup and service to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Follow food safety protocols and proper storage practices.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and checking inventory as needed.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Fulfilling special dietary requests and resident preferences during meals.
