Qualifications

• Current registration with the State of Illinois as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting, preferably as a unit manager or in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent patient care.
• Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and physicians.
• Conduct daily rounds, assess resident needs, and address concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
• Coordinate and participate in quality improvement initiatives, addressing resident concerns, and promoting a culture of excellence.
