Job summary

The Vanderbilt Health Executive Search Team is conducting a national search for an Associate Nursing Officer – Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular Institute. The ANO shall provide general management for the operations of a Patient Care Center with administrative oversight and leadership, supporting the mission and vision of VUMC.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree and 10 years of leadership experience in nursing required.
• RN (Nursing degree) required to practice in nursing leadership roles.
• Heart and vascular leadership experience strongly preferred; academic medical center experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide general management for the operations of a Patient Care Center with administrative leadership.
• Lead PCC planning, performance improvement, risk management, and clinical quality initiatives.
• Oversee resources, budgeting, staffing, and recruitment within the PCC.
• Collaborate with medical and administrative leaders to achieve PCC goals and strategic plans.
• Drive program development, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination.
