Job summary

HonorHealth seeks an Ambulatory Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO), Ambulatory (System/Floating). This system-level leader will execute and standardize ambulatory nursing practice across HonorHealth locations, operating as an extension of the VP-CNO, Ambulatory.

The role partners with campus nursing and operations to support consistent practice, quality, safety, workforce development, and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
• Experience in ambulatory and/or specialty nursing environments.
• Experience in integrated health systems with both acute and ambulatory settings.
• Experience supporting shared governance, professional practice models, or Magnet-aligned frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Align ambulatory specialty nursing practice with enterprise standards and guidelines.
• Lead governance structures, councils, competencies, and professional practice expectations across ambulatory domains.
• Partner with campus CNOs and system leaders to maintain unified nursing standards across multiple sites.
• Oversee quality, safety, regulatory alignment, and performance improvement initiatives in ambulatory nursing.
• Support staffing models, workflows, and care delivery processes across sites.
• Foster workforce development, onboarding, education, and competency validation for ambulatory nursing staff.

Education

BSN required

Master's degree in Nursing or related field
