Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assures patient care management through the nursing process and age-specific criteria.
• Selects and manages nursing staff for the assigned unit.
• Manages budgets for personnel and equipment within approved approvals.
• Directs Quality Improvement activities to ensure patient care quality.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agency requirements and Nursing Standards.
• Represents the unit at interdepartmental hospital functions and coordinates with departments.
