Job summary

Parkside Psychiatric Hospital & Clinic is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the DON in planning, directing, and evaluating nursing services across the hospital. This role leads clinical education programs and workforce development while ensuring regulatory readiness and high-quality patient care.

You will mentor RNs, LPNs, and MHTs, collaborate with leadership, and drive evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma RN license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing department operations.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to RNs, LPNs, and MHTs.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
• Coordinate orientation, onboarding, and competency assessments.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical education programs.
• Maintain regulatory readiness and compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, DHS and other requirements.
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Participate in audits, surveys, and action planning.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for professional practice.
• Participate in committees and organizational initiatives.
